Abstract

The research project addresses how color affects people's perception, exploring the relationship between color and
everyday situations. Key information will be extracted from the Fundación de Estudios Superiores Comfanorte to
understand how color perception can be understood by people not linked to design or creative areas. Data on color
perception will be analyzed to help illustrate how colors influence everyday life and how an appropriate color strategy
can positively impact the user or consumer.
The problem statement focuses on the subjectivity and variability in the perception of color among students of the
Comfanorte Foundation of Higher Studies. It seeks to challenge established concepts in graphic design about the
psychology of color, highlighting that colors do not have intrinsic meanings. In addition, it will analyze how colors acquire
cultural and political meanings over time, and how this variability can affect students' ability to interact in a globalized
world. The project aims to increase awareness of these differences and provide tools for a better understanding of the
use of color.
