Abstract

A project of Creative Architectural Social Economy is understood as part of this research, as one that uses architecture in a creative way within a vulnerable society, to generate urban improvement and a positive difference in the community, therefore, they have the objective of generating a favorable change in each community so that it can later reverse a similar effect in its territory. Considering the particularities of this type of projects, an investigation was carried out with the objective of determining the necessary practices for the management of Creative Architectural Economy projects to generate social capital in the community. This study was developed with the review of international project management benchmarks; in addition, a literary review was conducted on the management of social architectural creative economy projects; collection of information from interviews and surveys with experts who have participated in the formulation and management of this type of project in the city of Bogota (Colombia), and based on this, good management practices applied in economic projects were characterized creative architectural social executed in the district. As a result of the study, it was identified that change in the community is generated through the construction of a different perspective on how to lead these projects, which is generated by understanding that vulnerable communities have specific needs that must be considered throughout the life cycle of the project. The study concludes with the proposal of concrete practices for managers of these projects that facilitate community outreach and empowerment, through processes associated with communications management and stakeholder participation, whose implementation is differentiated according to the stages of the project.
