THE POLITICAL PARTICIPATION OF COLOMBIAN WOMEN AND THE COMMITMENT OF MANAGEMENT SCHOOLS.

The present research seeks to know what has been the political participation of women and how it has been linked in the political scenario of the country In parallel in this study, it is intended to reflect on the role that Business Administration programs should assume in the sensitization of their students towards political participation, acquiring a critical view of the reality of the country and recognizing the importance that they assume in political participation in the regions of origin and as future leaders of the organizations in which they will exercise their profession. The methodological approach is marked by a descriptive documentary route through the analysis of documentary sources. This research has allowed us to see the need for greater involvement in the political and sustainability training of university students, in particular rescuing the role of women in their communities, regions, as actors of change. The results showed that women have been invisibilized and because they are stereotyped as fragile and dependent, their possibilities of participating in political life diminish or they are not considered for this type of positions, additionally in the last century and the present the OSD in their need for equality and equity have given them tools to fight for the recognition of their rights. Being the schools of administration of universities a place where they can prepare and acquire skills that enhance their ability to fight, responsibility and commitment to society. In conclusion, women in the course of history have been able to demonstrate with achievements how capable they are by participating in the political life of the country, women have been able to empower, lead, contribute ideas and make decisions, which has led them to become more and more visible.
