Determination of the constants "K" of the Guerchet method for the calculation of plant distribution surfaces for a company in the clothing sector in the metropolitan area of ​​Cúcuta.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to calculate or estimate the K constants for the plant distribution surfaces in the clothing manufacture sector in the metropolitan area of the city of Cúcuta. To develop it, a sample of one company in the perimeter was chosen, calculating the machines and equipment used in the companies and thus characterizing a workforce of sixteen people thanks to the anthropometric measurement of the personnel in the stages of the process in order to have the necessary elements for the calculations that are required. The results obtained will be able to identify if the distribution of the plant is adequate for the proper functioning of this industrial sector. From the Guerchet method and the calculation of constants K, it is detected that the machines don’t meet the necessary requirement for their economic activity
