Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) is a method to identify and evaluate potential risks using RPN risk priority number to assess the influences of failures and thus be able to launch a recommended action. The RPN is the result of the combination of the severity (S), occurrence (O) and detection of the failure (D), on a numerical scale from 1 to 10. However, the use of the RPN tends to have defects as it is inconsistent when as summing the equalities of the importance’s of S, O, D. Therefore, this research aims to resolve the limitations represented by the FMEA method with the integration of the MOORA method, to evaluate we will use the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (AHP), in which AHP is used to modify the values of RPN, the MOORA method is applied to examine the different alternative solutions that we have. Finally, we will apply to a process to verify the effectiveness of our fuzzy hybrid method in FMEA.
