Industrial backwardness as the generating factor of unemployment in Cúcuta for the year 2010-2015

Abstract

Problem: unemployment is one of the most important scourges by flows through today’s society, people who find the selves in this situation must confront difficult situations to cover the costs resulting in maintaining the quality of personal and family life. The lack of investment in industries that generate jobs in society is one of the main factors of this phenomenon due to causes that the numbers of people who need work are a lot greater than the opportunities and vacancies that are available. Objective: to analyses the unemployment generated by the industrial backwardness in the city of Cúcuta from 2010-2015. Methodology: this study uses a quantitative part of the study of the analysis of numerical data, methodology is also implemented a survey that is done to people in the city of Cúcuta. Conclusion: it is concluded that industrial backwardness in the city of Cúcuta is mostlydue to the lack of interest of promoting policies of industrial building to facilitate and contribute to the creation of new production companies that generate employment for the population.
