Abstract

Finance is essential for companies to conduct ongoing strategic assessment and determine the current status of the application; therefore, it was decided to evaluate the results of the following analysis tools: vertical and horizontal analysis, financial ratios, correlation coefficient and regression, were applied to the balance sheet and the income statement for 2010 and 2011 of the Rice business Gélvez SA, which Along with these four financial factors, the SWOT matrix is used to derive strategic assessment of SA Rice Gélvez company that for the years 2010 and 2011 amounted to assets not be sufficient to pay off high debt due to the increase in customers and the cost not allowed to generate substantial gross profit; however Gélvez SA Rice has the potential to improve administrative and financially.
