Abstract

The organizational climate assessment at the Zandra beauty salon in Ocaña, Norte de Santander, aimed to determine the organizational climate of the employees at the salon. To achieve this, three specific objectives were pursued: first, to conduct an organizational assessment using a SWOT matrix to identify the organization's weaknesses and strengths; second, to analyze the organizational climate within the entity, identifying the motivating factors and support available to employees; and finally, to share the research results with the work team. For the success of this study, a methodological design was emphasized that involves observing and describing the behavior of a subject without influencing them in any way. Unlike the analytical method, it does not describe why a phenomenon occurs, but rather limits itself to observing what happens without seeking an explanation. It is used to study phenomena or subjects qualitatively before proceeding quantitatively. Basically, we can find three ways to conduct descriptive research: observational methods, case studies, and surveys. In this regard, the results obtained from identifying each of the weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and threats of the Zandra beauty salon yielded strategies that we believe will be beneficial for the organization. Similarly, we can affirm that the motivating factor in their work environment is teamwork among employees and the quality of their work. Finally, we can conclude that we will exchange ideas about the results of organizational development through a work meeting.
