Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze and describe the effects of the Latin American geopolitical change on Colombian international trade using a descriptive methodology that allows obtaining information on such changes in Latin American geopolitics and how this affects the country's economy. In Latin American geopolitical terms, the region had great influence on issues such as planning, implementation and / or generation of various policies, especially by the time of the second half of the twentieth century and with the passage of time aid was agreed between countries in the region to lead to Latin America to integrate and form alliances, regional organizations, agreements / trade agreements, etc. to combat and strengthen political, social and economic relations in the region and the world. The effects, commercial relations and alliance plans of different kinds that Latin American countries and Colombia itself have, important resources such as oil in Latin America and other items of weight per country in the region will be analyzed from the commercial perspective before the world, to boost the region and counteract the different problems that could be affecting the countries, Colombia, its commercial activity, political stage and social status.
