Photography: Art or part
Keywords:
Art;, Expression, Visual Language, ImagesAbstract
The purpose of this research was to identify the importance that society places on photography. While its existence is considered an artistic expression, its presence in sectors such as education, science, and architecture, among others, must also be evaluated. The significant business generated by this art in industries like fashion and entertainment is undeniable, but beyond showbiz, countless areas rely on the visual language inherent in photography. Education is a prime example, as teaching with images is an efficient strategy for conveying a message in terms of communication and comprehension. In this sense, it can be said that photography, as a process of the 19th century, remains relevant and essential for contemporary society as a means of remembrance and expression through the visual language that accompanies the image.
