Motivation and its influence on the job performance of the staff of the Agropecuaria de Norte de Santander company – Coagronorte Ltda

Every company needs to motivate its employees to ensure successful job performance and foster a healthy work environment that improves social and personal relationships. Therefore, to determine the motivational factors within the agricultural company Coagronorte Ltda. in Norte de Santander, three specific objectives were considered: identifying the importance of adequately motivating staff, studying the existing motivational factors, and finally, proposing motivational strategies for the company. A qualitative approach was used to discover, understand, and interpret the experiences and motivations that employees find pleasant or unpleasant. Surveys were used as the data collection instrument, and the results showed that it is important for employees to be motivated not only through remuneration but also by receiving recognition for good work.
