Platform for e-learning: a contribution to continuing education in higher education

Continuing education is a matter of vital interest in universities after opting for a professional academic degree, the development, learning and monitoring characteristics of professionals is the greatest demand at the labor level for entities, because they allow a good performance at a strategic level in terms of educational quality and competitive practice; Its main objective was to achieve an effective system for the promotion of the continuing education of graduates through the use of digital educational resources; therefore, the implementation of an electronic learning platform (E-Learning) was chosen for the improvement, teaching and scope of the continuing education of professionals; based on a type of descriptive and applied research with a qualitative approach. The virtual platform was developed with the methodology of (Métrica ll) because it has a structure of procedures designed for the development of software in education; achieving the formulation of the advancement, efficiency and continuous training of the graduate by administering digital learning contents.
