The products of great consumption included in the family basket of Colombian homes, is composed by a great variety of basic elements that each average family requires, with the aim of living with dignity and a minimum quality. These items that compose it have a national ranking, in which its positioning influences by some variables such as the repurchase or its tendency of use. It should be noted that consumer products are not only those of the family basket, we also find telecommunications, housing, education, transportation, among others. According to market studies, the average Colombian makes purchases by necessity and less for a specific taste, adjusting a large part of his income and making his bowling profitable. Taking into account the ability of each average family to pay in the country, it is important to highlight something important about the prices of products, which are recorded by different internal and / or external factors (GDP, CPI, climatic, social and economic factors ). Colombians who have purchasing power and purchasing decision making, in order to carry out the transaction of these products that will be used in the homes, are inclined to include imported items; Which are made up of attractive characteristics, some economic, but others of a high cost that defines them as exclusive products. On the other hand, we also find the products exported from our country; Generating economic development to our nation and creating new trade frontiers thanks to the different free trade agreements.
