The incorporation of GeoGebra as a pedagogical resource offers a valuable opportunity to enrich the teaching of geometry and metrics, knowing that GeoGebra is an interactive tool that combines geometric and algebraic elements, allowing an active visualisation and manipulation of mathematical concepts. In this context, the research focuses on strengthening the didactics for the development of geometric-metric thinking in students in grades 10 and 11 of the Terraplén Educational Institution in the municipality of San Martín, César, promoting meaningful and contextualised learning. The study is based on a quantitative research methodology with a descriptive approach and an exploratory method, enabling the collection of information through the survey technique, direct observation and documentary review, starting with a diagnosis of the level of knowledge of geometric-metric thinking in 24 students where difficulties are identified. With the design of the didactic strategy supported by the RED GeoGebra, a solid and applicable training in geometry and metrics is provided, fostering interest and appreciation for mathematics, also seeking to make students the protagonists of their own learning. Likewise, with the implementation of the post-test evaluation, it was possible to demonstrate that a more meaningful and motivating learning process was promoted for the students in the first two years of the programme.
