Abstract

In the current context, innovation in urban design processes and their implementation under sustainable management plays a crucial role in the search for social relevance in cities. The incorporation of advanced technologies, participatory approaches and responsible environmental practices opens up opportunities to improve the quality of life of citizens and promote urban equity. The communication process becomes a fundamental pillar for the success of these initiatives, enabling smooth interaction between government decision-makers, design experts and the local community. By promoting transparent and accessible communication, the inclusion of the diverse perspectives and needs of the inhabitants is encouraged, ensuring urban planning that is more adapted to social realities and demands. This is why the synergy between innovation, sustainability and effective communication is fundamental to building more livable, resilient and equitable cities that can face the challenges of the future in a collaborative manner and with a view to sustainable development.
